Our market leading 6mm thick edge is sold in 3-metre lengths and available in 5 heights. Please note this is a commercial edging product which is simple enough to be installed by anyone with basic tools.
Ideal for edging driveways, lawns and paths, installed correctly it will tolerate the inevitable wheels of wayward traffic. However, despite its thickness it is surprisingly flexible being able to form a complete circle with a radius down to 2 metres enabling it to be used for edging curved flowerbeds and borders too.
The higher 200mm and 300mm edge options available in the 6mm thickness lend themselves to creating raised beds or soil retaining. Please see our portfolio for examples of all of these.
We recommend burying half of the edge below ground for additional stability when edging paths and driveways and a third in the ground when edging flower beds. If your creating raised beds and wish to make use of the full edge heigh we advise burying at least 20mm in the ground to prevent the migration of soil. Please bear this in mind when choosing your edge height.
Our unique joining and staking system is very secure with no fixings on the seen face. 4 stakes are provided for each 3 metre length (750mm spacing) and start at 375mm long up to 500mm long depending on the edge heigh. All stakes and joining parts are supplied within the price.
